How to Make a Complaint

A friendly local provider speaking with a homeowner beside a septic access lid in a Brunswick yard

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches out to Thecharges Septic to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what to expect afterward. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can contact us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Thecharges Septic
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • How a provider we connected you with behaved

When the Issue Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own quotes, pricing, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work on your septic system, sewer line or plumbing, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who keeps falling short may be removed. Please know that Thecharges Septic cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email us at contact@thecharges.property and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what you would like us to do

After You Write to Us

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include getting in touch with the provider. Then we will write back with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed plumbing or septic contractors, your state licensing board or local health department may be able to help as well.
